Birth Control Facts for Pre-Teens

Along with basic information about what sex is and how it works, pre-teens also need to be introduced to birth control facts.  While parents and educators would prefer every young man and woman wait for marriage and maintain monogamous relationships, sometimes life just does not happen that way.  Considering that the pre-teen  years are still relatively hormone free, it is an important time to make sure that respect for bodily changes and sexual behaviors are understood and accounted for.
