Filing a Disability Claim for Uveitis

April 7th, 2009 | by admin |

If your ophthalmologist feels that your vision is at a significant loss in both eyes, the best thing that you can do before filing a disability claim with social security is to seek the second and third advice from other physicians. If they all believe that you are physically disabled with no hope of recovering, you will have a better chance of being approved for social security disabilty benefits if you are able to show the government that several physicians and ophthalmologists came to the same conclusion about your future health. It is extremely important to include all of the necessary documents from these medical professionals for the social security review board to go over.
