Typical Botox Injection Training Course

November 29th, 2007 | by admin |

There are many educators that hold classes to teach both physicians and their assistants how to screen patients and perform Botox injections on them. A typical Botox injection training course is given by Aesthetic Advancements (www.aestheticadvancements.com). Upon completion of this eight hour course, physicians receive 8 Category I CME credits and assistants receive 9.1 CE credits and each student receives the appropriate certificate. Topics covered include a complete review of facial anatomy and a study of the physiology equipment used for a Botox injection session. Some of the target facial areas covered are the lower lids, smoker’s lines of the mouth, and mental crease.
