Procedure For Prolapse And Hemorrhoids

July 15th, 2008 | by admin |

There are many surgical methods for the treatment of internal hemorrhoids. One such method is PPH or procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids. The method effectively reduces the prolapse of the tissue on the hemorrhoids. It is done by excising a band of the prolapsed anal mucosa membrane on the hemorrhoids. Usually it is done by using a circular stapling device. The stapling device pulls the prolapsed tissue and allows the removal of the excess tissue. Meanwhile the remaining tissue is stapled. As a result the tissue on the hemorrhoids is restored back to its original anatomical position.
