Some Of The Causes Of Lung Cancer

In the United States, out of all forms of cancer, the lung cancer is known to cause the maximum deaths. One of the major causes of lung cancer is cigarette smoking. The smoke inhaled through both active and passive smoking is found to be responsible for causing this type of cancer. Some other causes include a regular exposure to the radon gas or harmful chemicals like asbestos, herbicides, silica and some insecticides. Sometimes a regular exposure to radiation can also cause lung cancer. It can also be caused by air pollution caused by diesel exhaust fumes.
