Do you think there is any similarity between creating art and meditation?

I’m wondering if creating art has any of the same effects as meditation. It would be interesting if there are any studies on this. I remember hearing that listening to music for professional musicians activates similar areas of the brain to meditation.

      i dont think so.

      A lot of times when i’m working on a piece i feel at ease but when something goes wrong i get really fustrated. Then i have to constently think about how i’m going to fix the problem. I also have to think a lot about lighting, color, ect.

      with meditaion, i think your not supposed to think about anything. Your supposed to be at ease.

      so
      art = thinking
      meditation = no thinking
