Treadmills for People and for Pets

Man, what'll they think of next? I don't own a pet, so maybe I'm just out of the loop on this one, but I was doing some research online, looking for information about treadmills, elliptical exercise equipment, and other types of fitness equipment, and I found an article about dog treadmills. Seems if someone doesn't have the time to walk their dog every day, they can buy one of these things. Apparently you just strap the animal in and start it up, and he figures out what he's supposed to do. I dunno, but I figure if you can't spare fifteen or twenty minutes a day to walk your dog, then why do you have a pet?
