What Should I do if I Suspect I Have an Eye Infection After Laser Eye Surgery?

The best thing you can do is call the surgeon immediately. If it is during normal business hours, you may want to stop by the office, and see if a nurse can take a quick look at your eye. Considering that you may never have had laser eye surgery before, you are not necessarily in a position to judge whether or not an infection is present. Any doctor would prefer that you ask and make sure all is well, rather than say nothing.
