One of the symptoms of a panic attack as related to panic disorder is agoraphobia or, essentially, a “fear of panic attacks” A person in this situation fears that they cannot escape from an embarrassing episode. This may cause the victim to stay home always in order to avoid any such situation. There are also other phobias that are associated with symptoms of a panic attack: Fear of driving, being in a crowded place, and eventually even a fear of stepping outside your door. These people fear that a panic attack will happen if they leave their house—some are even afraid to seek help.
