Types of Eating Disorder
December 15th, 2007 | by admin |There are essentially a few kinds of eating disorder. The one is the compulsive eating of items not normally considered to be food. Another is compulsive over-eating. Next is characterized by normal eating habits with periods of binge eating. Another is binge eating followed by excessive compensatory action to reduce its effect. The most common one is the willful limiting of food intake. An eating disorder can be a mix of all the above or just one of these. All of these disorders are potentially harmful to the affected people and can result in serious medical conditions or even death.
