Will A Yeast Infection Just Slow Down Sperm Or Actually Kill It?

May 1st, 2008 | by admin |

There are experts who contend that a yeast infection does not actually kill sperm, despite those who say it can. These professionals say that although a yeast infection cannot kill sperm, the sperm can be slowed down inside the vaginal canal and have an extremely difficult time making it to the uterus. This slow down is said to be caused by some of the medications that are used to treat a yeast infection. These medicines apparently contain an element that is deadly to sperm. So, does a yeast infection kill sperm?—not according to some. Go figure—I guess one expert’s word is as good as another.
